Why Your Support Matters

An honor that comes with a real price tag

Competing in Quebec is an incredible honor and opportunity for our team — but the nine-day tournament comes with significant additional costs that are not covered by our regular season registration fees: tournament registration fees, round-trip travel, ground transportation, multiple nights of lodging for players and staff, meals, and equipment.

Every dollar raised directly reduces the financial burden on our players’ families and helps ensure that no player is left behind because of cost.

The Trip at a Glance

  • 18+ countries represented at the tournament
  • $80,000 fundraising goal from the community
A Legacy of Champions

The same ice where hockey history was made

Since 1960, more than 1,500 tournament alumni have gone on to play in the NHL or WHA — including Connor Bedard, Auston Matthews, Juraj Slafkovsky, Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.

When you sponsor Team Maryland, you are not just supporting a youth sports trip. You are helping our players step onto the same ice where hockey history was made — and where history will be made again.

One team. One goal. One Maryland.

Help 17 kids from Maryland represent their state on an international stage. Every gift is tax deductible.
